Since the role of environmental organizations has been ignored in Lebanon for long. Moustafa Saad Charity Foundation has given priority to support
these organizations. Helping them overcome hardships would re-activate and reinforce their role, and thus enable them to deliver their message and
spread environmental awareness to establish a clean unpolluted community.

The war years have resulted in the widespread neglect and thus degradation of the environment in Lebanon. To bring the problems of the environment to the forefront and in order to eventually find long-term measures and policies to clarify and resolve the increasing environmental problems, Moustafa Saad Charity Foundation has organized a policy-oriented research in the field of the environment in Lebanon.

Our policy aims at encouraging all Environmental Organizations that are located in South Lebanon, to be more active and productive in developing and maintaining an environmentally friendly society. In order to achieve this Moustafa Saad Charity Foundation has given extra attention to the
environmental problems facing the South Lebanon.

In order to get support from our Foundation, the environmental organization should first send us a proposal stating the aims and purpose of their
suggested environmental project. At a later stage our environmental experts would study the proposal and would suggest if it fits our criteria. Our
criteria of course would be that any project to be supported by our Foundation should be of benefit to the environmental need of South Lebanon.
